There are many ways to support LifeSmart Youth and empower youth to lead healthy, safe lives. Whether you volunteer your time, advocate for youth health education, or help spread awareness, your support makes a difference in the lives of young people across Indiana.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers play an important role in helping us expand awareness, strengthen partnerships, and support youth-serving efforts.

Volunteer opportunities vary throughout the year based on organizational and community needs.

Volunteer Opportunities May Include:

  • Helping with office or administrative projects

  • Assisting at community events and outreach opportunities

  • Supporting fundraising events and campaigns

  • Assisting with resource preparation and organization

  • Serving on committees or special projects

  • Building Mental Health Kits and Hygiene Kits

  • Supporting advocacy and awareness initiatives

Advocacy

Advocacy is an important part of creating healthier and safer communities for young people. LifeSmart Youth encourages individuals, schools, parents/guardians, and community members to help raise awareness about the importance of prevention education and youth well-being.

Ways You Can Advocate:

  • Share accurate information about youth health and prevention education

  • Help reduce stigma surrounding seeking mental health support

  • Promote healthy relationships and safety education

  • Attend community events and educational opportunities

  • Share LifeSmart Youth resources and social media content

  • Advocate for youth access to trusted, medically accurate education
