YOUTH VOICE MATTERS

LifeSmart Youth’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC) provides young people with an opportunity to share their perspectives and help shape the programs that impact their lives. By bringing together students from different schools and communities across Indiana, the Council ensures that youth voices are included in conversations about health, relationships, and well-being.

The Youth Advisory Council meets virtually once a month to collaborate on discussions, projects, and activities that support healthy and safe communities. Members provide valuable feedback on LifeSmart Youth’s classroom programs and help educators understand the issues that matter most to today’s youth.

In addition to offering insight on programming, Council members work together on initiatives that promote awareness, education, and positive change in their communities.
